The project utilizes 3 integrated refrigeration systems:
- CO₂ Cascade PLC Automation (Cold Source) + 3 Manual Blast Freezers
- Fluorinated Unit + 2 Manual Cold Storages
- Fluorinated Unit + Manual Control (Dock, Processing & Buffer Areas)
The electrical system was designed to ensure operational safety, flexibility, and system reliability, including:
- Power and control systems for CO₂ and F-gas compressors, evaporators, and pumps
- Manual control interfaces across 5+ critical zones
- Safety integration featuring four emergency call stations, nine temperature display units, and powered door systems
- Custom control logic incorporating defrost, automatic shutdown during failure, and temperature-responsive operations
Despite its relatively small scale, the project required:
- Complex system integration: combining PLC automation with manual, safety-critical control mechanisms
- Fail-safe operational design: ensuring automatic cut-off during malfunction
- User-oriented control: with intuitive rotary switches for defrost and automatic modes across multiple zones
This cold storage facility in Peru was delivered through a fully integrated engineering approach, ensuring seamless coordination from civil construction to final commissioning—ready for immediate operation
